Dear EPSD Families,
Effective Monday, January 13, 2025, the EPSD Transportation Department is implementing a new program for all students. We have partnered with Smart Tag, a rider accountability program that enhances student safety and transportation efficiency for school buses. This program utilizes a Bus Pass card that students must present when riding the bus for routes and activities/sports trips. The district is providing the first card for each student at no cost. Brainstorm ideas with your student on how they can be responsible for the ownership of this card. Replacement cards cost $5.00 and will be charged to the student's account, if needed.
