Welcome to the Estes Park School District’s AI Adoption Plan webpage. As part of our mission to provide innovative and effective educational experiences, we are integrating artificial intelligence (AI) tools into our classrooms starting in the second semester of the 2024-2025 school year. This initiative represents a district-wide commitment to preparing our students for a future where AI will play a central role in their lives and careers.

 

Why AI in Education?

Artificial intelligence is transforming industries worldwide, and education is no exception. At EPSD, we aim to use AI to:

• Alignment with State Standards: Our AI applications will adhere to Colorado State Standards for Computer Science, emphasizing computational thinking and responsible AI usage.
