Each year the Elementary Student Council works on a variety of projects to benefit our school, our community and the world around us. There are two meetings held each month that representatives from 3rd-5th grade attend. Each representative updates and gets feedback from their own class, as well as a PK-2nd grade buddy class.
One of the larger projects we work on is the annual Penny War where coins are collected and donated to two different charities, one from Estes Park and one on a national or global level. We also support Estes Pak, go caroling to retirement communities during the holidays, sponsor monthly dress up days including the popular Polar Express Day in December, deliver Valentine Grams, celebrate our teachers during Teacher Appreciation week, run the School Store, and more!
