Mr. Jeremy Schriner

During his role at Windsor Charter Academy, he has led and carried out a comprehensive plan for increasing test scores and stabilizing school enrollment and school finances through the creation of an Early College High School. These efforts resulted in Windsor Charter Academy receiving the Academic Growth Award from the Colorado Department of Education.

Prior to his time at Windsor Charter Academy, he held the position of Assistant Principal at Meeker Elementary School in Greeley. There he was responsible for evaluating staff and implementing a data team process and monitoring student behaviors to support student achievement. The collaborative implementation of this process resulted in a 14.8 percentage point increase on the School Performance Framework. His experiences in the elementary setting provided him with a deep understanding of the early stages of literacy and numeracy, which when mastered, give students the essential skills for long-term academic success.

Schriner also has secondary experience as the Founding Principal of the inaugural year of the Adams City High School Freshman Bridge Academy in Commerce City, where he had the responsibility of developing a rigorous academic program, further preparing students for success in high school. During his time as a school leader, he was selected by the CDE to serve as a Principal Mentor through the Principal Mentoring Cohort, where he was assigned as a mentor for new principals to support their growth as a leader.

He also had the opportunity to work as the Director of K-12 Curriculum for the University of Colorado-Anschutz Medical Campus within the pre-college program through the Office of Diversity and Inclusion. In this role, he helped develop course sequencing and support solid instructional practice throughout the program.

Schriner has an incredible wife and two young-adult sons. As a family they love to hike, trail-run, mountain bike, travel, playing board games and spending time together. The district is looking forward to new opportunities and an exciting upcoming school year.
