In his words...

  • My family and I have called Estes Park home for over 13 wonderful years now.  I have two children, both of which are fortunate to be able to attend Estes Park Schools.  In my time in education, I have taught 1st, 5th, and 6th grades.
Our children are our future, and our world is changing at an unprecedented rate.  I believe that, as educators, we are trusted with the most important part of any community - our children.
Our mission at EPES is to provide a safe and challenging environment that allows for all children to learn and become productive, responsible citizens by:
    • Nurturing and educating the whole student and encouraging a passion for lifelong learning.
    • Welcoming the diverse views and cultures of our students and their families.
    • Acknowledging the important role of the family in the education of our students.
Being a parent has provided me with an even deeper understanding of how fortunate we are to have parents entrust us with the safety and education of their child.  The Estes Valley is a community that holds education in very high regard.  We are very grateful as a school and district that our community supports our students in so many different ways as we work together to provide the best possible school experience for all of our children.
