Bus Discipline

The school bus is an extension of the classroom, and discipline will be administered by the Transportation Manager, school bus driver, and school principal according to the severity of the misbehavior. Steps and consequences for improper conduct on the school bus include the following:
Offense 1.
A bus conduct report is written and sent home with the student for a parent/guardian signature. The student returns the signed conduct report to the bus driver before riding again.Offense 2.
A bus conduct report is written and sent home with the student. Student will be suspended from use of bus for three days. The signed conduct report must be signed by parent/guardian and returned to driver before riding again. Building principal will be contacted.Offense 3.
A bus conduct report is written and sent home with the student. The student will be suspended from use of bus for five days. The conduct report must be signed by parent/guardian and returned to driver before riding again. Building principal will be contacted.Offense 4.
A bus conduct report is written and sent home with the student. The student will be suspended from use of bus for the remainder of the school year. Building principal will be contacted.
