Procedures for Disagreements
This refers to instances where different parties disagree about the outcomes of one of the three foundation blocks of our Gifted Education Program: 1) Identification, 2) Advanced Learning Plans (ALPs), 3) Programing. In such a case, an inquiry must be made to the Director of Student Services. Parents should submit a detailed written description of the circumstances. The Director of Student Services will review the decision, make a recommendation and notify parents with in 15 days. Should a further review be required for resolution, it can be brought to the Director of Student Services and, if necessary, to the Superintendent for a final judgment.
