About our program
The purpose of our special education program is to provide full educational opportunities and support to all children with disabilities. This allows them to develop university and career readiness skills, as well as achieve the same overall foundations for success as general education students.
Services for students with disabilities in Estes Park change as goals are attained, as current research defines strategies and direction, and as legal mandates change. The Special Education Director guides special education staff in compliance with state and federal regulations in providing services to all students with disabilities so that students receive a free and appropriate public education. Students receiving these services will receive them in the least restrictive educational environment.
Mission
Our mission is to provide students with special needs a foundation to increase student achievement and necessary skills to pursue further education and/or confidently enter the workforce.
Goal
Our goal is to collaborate with parents and students to provide an exceptional educational program that provides each student with the tools they need to thrive and be prepared for a 21st century education.
