Facilities Use & Rental Guidelines

Estes Park School District R-3 sits upon 46 acres in the beautiful Estes Valley, and consists of one each of Elementary, Middle, and High Schools. We have nearly 500,000 square feet of buildings, over 1,140 students, and 180 staff members. We also rent space for the Estes Park Options School off-site at Mountain View Bible Fellowship, located at 1575 S. St Vrain Avenue.
Estes Park School District R-3 promotes a strong community connection and recognizes that it has facilities that could be of service to the families, organizations, and business members of the Estes Valley. Policy, established procedures, rules, and regulations define the types of uses that are permitted (see the Community Use Guide for full details). A separate fee structure for user groups shall ensure that the district will spend its money directly on the education of youth while promoting community use of facilities.
Fees vary depending on the type of area used and the user category. Areas that may be rented include cafeterias, gyms, auditoriums, classrooms, parking lots, and some fields. Call or email the Facility Use Coordinator for questions regarding availability and whether a proposed use is permitted.

Brian_Lund@estesschools.orgIn most cases, before a request can be approved, the user will need to provide a Certificate of Liability Insurance with a minimum of $1,000,000.00 in general liability limits. The certificate must also state that “Estes Park School District, 1605 Brodie Avenue, Estes Park, CO. 80517” is an additional insured.
Upon approval of a facility use request, a deposit of approximately 25% of estimated fees will be collected to secure the facility rental.
Approval for use does not constitute district endorsement of any organization, the beliefs of the organization or group, the expression of any opinion regarding the nomination, retention, election, or defeat of any candidate, nor the expression of any opinion as to passage or defeat of any election issue.
