“Back to School” Professional Development Schedule

Sessions required for ALL employees are in PURPLE.  Employees not already contracted to work on Monday, August 25 (i.e. 9-month employees) must submit time sheets signed by their supervisor in order to be paid.

Saturday, August 2 – 8:30 am – 3:30 pm.  Bigger, Faster, Stronger Training for coaches and high school athletes – HS Athletic Wing – Contact Randy Hinson

Monday, August 18—8:00 am -12:00 pm.  Required CPI (Crisis Prevention and Intervention) Refresher for returning Special Education Staff.  Elementary SPED classroom—Sundee Pietsch

Tuesday, August 19—8:00 am - 4:00 pm. Required CPI (Crisis Prevention and Intervention) Training for new Special Education Staff, Counselors. Other staff members are invited - notify Sundee if you plan to come.  Elementary SPED classroom—Sundee Pietsch

Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, August 20, 21, 22 - 7:15 am-4:30 pm, New Teacher Induction—Karen Glassman, Brad Schultz (Detailed schedule will be mailed to individuals)

Friday, August 22 - 7:15 am-4:15 pm - Required Mentor Training—Karen Glassman (Detailed schedule will be mailed to individuals)

10:30-11:30 - FISH Philosophy - High School Auditorium

11:30 am - 12:30 pm - Classified Staff - Lunch/ID Badges/Parking Permits – HS Commons

12:30 - 2:15 pm - Classified Staff – Required Training - High School Auditorium
