Educators in Colorado can now pay for Licenses Online

If you are applying for a new educator license or renewing your current one through the Colorado Department of Education, you can now pay online with a credit card or electronic check.  This service has been implemented in collaboration with the state Web portal, Colorado Interactive at www.Colorado.gov.

This new payment system will allow users to select a $15, $30, or $60 option for payment, depending on the license they select.  The system will verify payment, by debit or credit card, and the educator can view a printable receipt page.  Educators still need to mail or drop off a hard copy of their application, along with a receipt of their online payment, to CDE.  On August 1, the unit will no longer accept checks.  Applications will only be able to pay online.
