  HEALTHY SNACKS!!

The Wellness Committee for the Park School District is requesting that parents and teachers no longer use food-based treats as rewards and/or for parties.

If you would like to provide food for a classroom party we ask that it be a healthy snack. Candy, cookies, cake, and donuts, etc. should be avoided. We are also requesting that drinks be either water, milk or 100% fruit juice. Attached is the healthy snack tips from www.betterschoolfood.org. Please check with your classroom teacher regarding food allergies/intolerances for students in the classroom.

 Some suggestions for alternatives to food:
* Plan a fun activity
* Non-food rewards/treats, i.e. pencils, stickers, etc.
